NFL Betting – How To Build An NFL Survivor Pool

One of the most exciting parts about the beginning of an NFL season is preparing to start a new survivor pool. The basic premise behind the survivor pool is to pick a different team every week to win their game, and as long as the pick wins, you survive to pick again the next week. While there are varying sports betting types of survivor pools out there to join, the prices can range from too little to too much, and it could be hard to coordinate. That makes it even more practical to run your own survivor pool, which can actually be really easy and a lot of fun.

Setting up a survivor pool can be as easy as rounding up a group of friends or colleagues, and recording their picks every week for as long as they are alive, until eventually a winner is announced. Where things become more complex and can be adjusted to fit the overall group’s desires is when the details of the pool need to be determined, with things such as the buy-in amount, and the possible “buy-back” option two of the most crucial things that need to be figured out. While most pools will have an overall winner determined by the final week of the season, there is still the odd chance that there could be a tie, for which you would also have to determine whether or not the two finalists will split the money, or whether or not the tiebreak will come down to some other factor such as by how many points each player’s selections won their games by, or the overall record of the teams that were selected compared to the spread listed by the pay head bookies.
